DFI Title XX Partners Training: Overview for Executives, Directors, & New Partner Camps/Agencies

About This Training...

This course will provide an overview of the DFI Title XX Camping Services Program and include:

1. A  description of how the program functions, where the funding comes from, and how camps can partner with the American Camp Association, Illinois & the Illinois Department of Human Services to gain access to funding.

2. Overview of agency/camp qualifications and how campers qualify for the funding.

3. A brief summary of the allocation and match requirements and process for agencies. 

4. Other pertinent information so that Executives and Directors can learn about the program and determine if this program will meet the needs of their camp. 

Who Should Attend...

Each Partner organization must have one person who has attended this training within the last two years. New camps/agencies wishing to apply for the first time or returning after being away from the program for more than one season must complete this training prior to submitting an application.
