What exactly does ACA Illinois do? A lot! As a 501(c)3, ACA Illinois serves thousands of people each year through our mission focused work. Join us to learn more about how we work collectively to get more people to camp, and help our camps continue to provide excellent, life-changing programs.

The Annual Meeting is important to the transparency and mission of our organization. During the meeting, you will hear directly from the Board President, Executive Director, Treasurer, and our program services Committees. Reports will include updates on projects and initiatives, in addition to plans for the future. We invite all members, partners, volunteers, donors, and other supporters to attend to better understand the work of their Association.

Tiffany Yvonne Gratton-McDuffie, CPA, M. Ed., founder of She PLAYS, Co.

Why Attend?

Career Advancement:

Intentional involvement in a professional association like ACA Illinois builds strong connections that can, and often do, lead to future jobs, resources, and opportunities. Being an active member of ACA Illinois can offer you an opportunity to develop new skills and further your own career while giving back to your camp community.

Camp Advancement:

This annual meeting is conducted to ensure transparency and share current impacts on the camp community served through ACA Illinois programs, including your own camp. See how your membership dues, accreditation fees, and donations are being used to further our mission and enhance the camp experience for all.

Accreditation:

Accreditation is a peer-review program and run by members of the Association. Actively being part of these conversations is your chance to have your voice heard, offer feedback, and be part of solutions to strengthen this program. Additionally, this is also where major changes, updates, and information is announced about the program that may impact you.

DFI Title XX:

As a partner agency, hearing firsthand about what the Association is experiencing and doing for this program will aid in your understanding of the DFI Title XX Program, in addition to opportunities for feedback, and being an active part of securing these funds in the coming years.
